“After spending many years seeing the anguish in the faces of my clients facing court hearings, I knew when I retired from my busy solicitors’ practice after many successful years that I needed to look for a different way to resolve conflict. Consequently, I enrolled in Maynooth University and qualified as a mediator there and with the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland. Shortly afterward, I founded Mediation Westside. It has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling decisions I’ve made.”

Sessions usually last between one and two hours and are spaced out over a period of weeks. For matters regarding business, property, or banking, a half-day or even a full day may be recommended for the first consultation. In certain circumstances, co-mediation with two mediators can work very well.
